The service is simple to use and has the benefits of convenience, flexibility, and the utmost in privacy (no sitting in waiting rooms with other patients).
How Does On-line Video Therapy Work?
Prior to your appointment, you will be sent an Email reminder of your online video therapy session. You simply click on a link to enter the virtual waiting room. You should be in a private space and utilize headphones for the utmost privacy. If you can stream services, like Netflix, one your device, then you can use the platform.
Who Is Eligible?
To be eligible for online therapy, you must be an adult who resides in the state of Florida. Prior to scheduling your first video appointment, Dr. Pedroche will likely require at least one in-person session to assess your eligibility and whether or not she is a good fit for you and vice-versa.
What Does Video Therapy Cost?
Online therapy services must be paid for out-of-pocket and are the same cost as in-person therapy sessions. It is your responsibility to inquire with your insurance company about whether or not you will receive reimbursement for telehealth services. A superbill will be provided to you or submitted for you, electronically, at your request.
